Tray chic

Our kitchen door is the most used entrance in our house, which is why I have this tray to the right when you walk in. It's so easy to just toss keys, wallets, sunglasses, etc. on the counter so the tray helps to keep the area organized and free of clutter.

It's a garage sale find but something similar can be found herehere, and here.

This Crate & Barrel vase (which is now sold out) has appeared in many posts because it is one of my favorites and bounces around to different locations in the house.

The striped tumbler, which can be found here from West Elm, is serving as a holder for pens, pencils, and an envelope opener.

Having a notepad by the door is helpful for leaving reminders and notes.

The tin box to the left is our catch-all for things like mail and car keys. It has been painted in Annie Sloan's Paris Grey. To see other things we've painted with Annie Sloan, visit here.

We've been out of town for the past few weekends so the "big" projects have been on hold.
I hope to start and finish them soon and share with you!

Thanks for stopping by!
