The left side of our foyer, which has been bare for the majority of our time here, has recently been shown some attention.
The wooden shelf was a garage sale find for only five bucks.
We had it hung up in
our last place but since moving, it had been sitting in a closet until it dawned on me that it might work here.
The frames are also from a garage sale and the faux succulents in the tin are from Home Goods (I'm a fan of plants that I can't kill).
The straw tote that is hanging was a "dipping" project of mine.
For a DIY tutorial on how to dip something, you can visit
here.
This herringbone throw blanket is a recent purchase from
Target that you can find
here.
Can you ever have too many throw blankets? Not in our house!
Below the shelf is this shoe rack that came from
Sailor Trading Co., a consignment furniture store in New Jersey that I have posted about
here.
I originally had it in
our guest house but decided to try it in here instead.
The suitcase on the bottom is from a garage sale and the smaller one on top is from Home Goods.
You can read about the right side of our foyer that I posted about a ways back
here.
Minus the throw blanket, I used things that I already had to decorate this space
which = no extra money spent
which = happy husband!
Have a great day :)
