Going for the gold

I've posted earlier about our master bathroom and the work we have done on the vanity.
Here is what it originally looked like:

In an effort to lighten it up a bit, I painted it several months ago using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

Once it was painted, I turned my attention to the gold hardware and tossed around the idea of changing it out for something different.

Other projects got in the way and the hunt for different hardware stopped until recently when I was at Home Depot and spotted these utility pulls for under $3.
So cheap!

This weekend we added them to the vanity doors:

I've been anti-gold hardware (I did spray paint a gold shower door after all) but after this simple change, the gold is really starting to grow on me.
I plan on also adding the pulls to the drawers on the right as well.

With each little change we make in here (painting the vanity, painting the walls, framing the mirror, accessorizing), the bathroom is starting to feel more like our taste.

Off to finish more projects!
Enjoy your Sunday :)
