A few months back, I shared exciting news that my sister-in-law and brother (whose wedding you can read about here) were expecting! Once we found out, we immediately started scheming nursery ideas and I shared this one with you.
When they learned it was a boy, she went to purchase this rug that was to be sort of the focal point of the whole nursery. Unfortunately, it was too late because the rug was already sold out in the size they needed.
It worked out for the best though because she decided on a whole new "look" for this space that is so serene and peaceful, baby (who is due in just a few weeks!!) will feel right at home.
Here's a look around this beautiful nursery that was a collaborative and fun project the whole family took part in (source list for almost everything at the end of this post):

LOVE IT. :):) can't wait for you to be baby's photographer
ReplyDeleteI can't wait either!
DeleteSo soft and serene. I love the cool colors chosen for the nursery. It's truly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! It is even more serene in person but luckily it came through in the photos.
DeleteBeautiful! But the pics above the crib will have to move -- eventually -- not safe once baby can stand and reach!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think as baby grows, the mattress will be lowered making it impossible for baby to reach those frames. But we will definitely do a check to make sure they are securely hung on the wall. We don't want anything hurting this sweet baby!
DeleteLucky little guy. Just BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteThank you Debra!
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!! It's just perfect! Thanks for sharing the source list!:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cindy! Happy to share it.
DeleteAmazing photos. Can you tell me who the photographed the nursery?
ReplyDeleteThanks, I did!
DeleteHow is your sister-in-law liking white land of nod pouf? I wanted to get that to go with my grey glider but and worried about keeping it clean!
ReplyDeleteHi! Nice name by the way :) She likes it a lot and went with that one for the same reason, worried about getting an ottoman that would get dirty fast. Since it's leather, you can wipe it down and I would imagine if it got scuff marks on it or something, you could probably use a magic eraser.
DeleteWhere did the wooden letter "A" come from?! I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteIt's great isn't it? I think she found it at Home Goods!
