Secondhand sconces

You know the saying "it takes a village"?
Well, that couldn't have been more true around our house during the first couple weeks after having baby Charlie
Not only were we lucky to have lots of family help ease us into parenthood (I think there was a day where I didn't have to change one diaper) but we also had extra hands wanting to help with things around the house including hanging these sconces in our dining room.

They were a garage sale find for just 7 bucks each.
So unbelievably cheap!

My dad, one of our sets of helping hands during those first couple weeks, was able to install them without any problem thanks to existing wiring that was already in place.

I like how the white and brass in the sconces match our Pottery Barn light fixture that I posted about here.

Thank you to Andrea from The Cottage Market for sharing our DIY wire hamper!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

  1. Wow Caitlin, that's a great find! You're so lucky that they go so well with the one from Pottery Barn.

Also, tell us more about baby Charlie! I bet he loves his room :)
