I scooped up these two framed prints at a garage sale a few months ago for a dollar a piece.
The artwork was not my taste at all and I didn't like the color of the wood frame, but I liked the mat and the size of the frames so I decided to give them a little TLC and transform them from this...

I ordered the prints from this Etsy shop for about $10 each...
...and painted the wood frames in Annie Sloan Paris Grey.
Both are currently hanging in our kitchen.
It's so fun to take something (kinda) ugly and turn it into something you love.
