Trading with Sailor Trading Co.

You  know that feeling when you go into a store and you literally want everything?
Well, that is how I feel when I go into Sailor Trading Co.
a consignment furniture and home decor shop with two locations in Sea Girt and Avon, NJ.

The only problem is they need to open a location in Connecticut ASAP
(although you don't have to convince me to take a ride down to the Jersey Shore).

Their style is rustic with a little beachy (hence the "Sailor") and they constantly have new stuff.
Not to mention, most of the items in the store are consigned, which means there is sometimes wiggle room to negotiate.

Perfectly rustic and neutral!

I've seen those claw feet before...

I want it all!

One of our purchases (from a couple of years ago) from Sailor Trading Co. was this dresser:

Since it was a consignment piece, we were able to negotiate about $150 off the original asking price.

This shoe rack (which currently does not have any shoes on it) also came from Sailor Trading Co. and was a gift from my mom:

Right now we are using it in the guest house to hold some pillows and a blanket:

Happy Columbus Day!
