Like new nightstands

I'm happy to announce we are one (tiny) step closer to completing our incomplete master bedroom as I scooped up a pair of these nightstands at a garage sale for about $30.
So cheap!

They were showing a little wear and tear and I wasn't in love with the color of the wood so they've been painted in Annie Sloan's Old White and just need to be waxed.

Here's what one of the nightstands looks like jazzed up with some accessories:

The glass top comes off so I plan on putting down fabric underneath it like these choices:

Since I haven't picked out a fabric yet, I tried it out with this paper that I already had:

It's a tad too girly for Chris so it won't be staying but was still fun to try out.

I also tried this geometric fabric I had leftover from my best friend's (and brother's) wedding:

By the way...
the vase is originally from Michael's
(although it came from a family wedding and we were lucky enough to get to take one home---thanks E & J)
and the lamp and frame are from Home Goods.

Thanks for stopping by!
