Meet Melissa: part 2 the main floor

Earlier this week I shared a look into my friend Melissa's foyer, an inviting area of the house with a perfectly put together gallery wall. Today, I'm sharing a peek around their open concept main floor.

The living area boasts these awesome floor to ceiling built-ins that her husband Trevor built himself.

I love love love this console table that Melissa found at a Pottery Barn outlet as well as how she accessorized the top of it.

The white vases are Ikea (she had me fooled, I thought they were West Elm) and the antlers are from a local store.

Between the living room and kitchen, she has hung this statement clock.
Looks so expensive, right? It's from Home Goods

A family friend built their farmhouse dining table.
The legs came from the same place Chris and I ordered our table legs!

Melissa, maybe we should start calling you Martha.
She just threw together this flower arrangement!

The light fixture, which is currently on sale here, makes a big statement in the room.
I like how it contrasts the rustic feel of the table.

I have a love for white kitchens (shocker) and this one makes me (almost) want to cook.

I'm obsessed with these kitchen island stools, which can be found here.

Even though they moved in only six months ago, it already feels so cozy and inviting!
Stay tuned for a peek around their upstairs.

In the meantime, Chris, Rosie, and I are hunkering down for the second snow day of the week.
Summer, where are you?

  2. I love this home! Makes me want to go tackle all of my unfinished rooms asap. I just recently finished a complete renovation of our beach home in Galveston and I also used those World Market stools around our white kitchen marble island. I love the way they look but also the fact that when you spin them around, they adjust to different heights. Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with us! Vikki

  3. Love It Any idea where she got the hanging globe light in the kitchen? Just what I've been looking for.
